On March 10, the Regional Model Forest Network for Asia (RMFN-Asia) will launch its 2015-2020 Strategic Framework during an all members’ meeting in Lampang, Thailand. The Framework identifies key areas of activity such as food and water security, poverty alleviation, enhancing forest cover and biodiversity conservation, natural resource governance, and climate change. It is the first time the RMFN-Asia has published a document of this nature that clearly outlines priority areas of collaboration as well as approaches for tacking issues of common concern.
